ForWorks has handed over its latest new-build scheme to social housing client City West Housing Trust.
Sharp Street in Walkden is a development of two terraced houses and will be available for affordable rent.
The homes are part of a wider development programme to build new homes across Salford for City West. They follow the completion of ForWorks' other new build schemes at Haydock Drive (Worsley) and Nelson Street (Eccles) and soon-to-be-completed Dixon Street (Irlam).
The homes have been built using structurally insulated panels meaning that the properties will achieve extremely high quality thermal efficiency values as well as low air permeability rates.
